Welcome to Barnsley Trout Club

In the beautiful foothills of the Pennines, Barnsley Trout Club offers Forty acres of prime trout fishing and is situated off the A629 north of the picturesque market town of Penistone.

We have been a fishermans paradise for over 43 years. Our reservoir holds rainbow and blue trout ranging between 1.5 lbs and 8.0 lbs and is regularly stocked throughout the season. The reservoir also holds native brown trout to 10 lbs.

Primarily we are a members club but our members always offer a warm welcome to visiting anglers, experienced and beginners alike. We are open between the 1st March to the 30th November.
